At the “10th Anniversary Event” on March 4th in NYC, the original high-flyer of ROH will team with “Technical Lighting” TJ Perkins, his present day equivalent, to take on former ROH World Champion Roderick Strong & “Unbreakable” Michael Elgin.

Amazing Red participated in a match against Nick Jackson, Matt Jackson, Willie Mack, and the added Eric Watts. Unfortuantely, Amazing Red didn’t win, but it looks like he did amazing nonetheless. IWL Heavyweight Championship Match. What was supposed to have been a Fatal-4-Way turned into a 5-Man FFA, as Christian Cole got the go from promoter Vic Luna, as it seemed, to add in…”BIG NASTY” ERIC WATTS! Eric Watts took on Willie Mack, Matt Jackson, Nick Jackson, & former TNA X-Division Champion Amazing Red, and beat them all when he rolled up Willie Mack w/ a Crucifix to win the vacant IWL Heavyweight Title. A bit of a scuffle between Watts & Ryke ensued, but a brief shoot by The Young Bucks to thank Red for coming over, among other things, ended the show.

A recent hype video has hit the web for the ECWA Super 8 Tournament on April 7th. The video shows clips of all the tournament participants, including Amazing Red. You can view Amazing Red’s part starts at 6:00 and goes to 6:39. There’s clips of him from TNA taking on Jay Lethal, Motor City Machine Guns, Christopher Daniels, Brian Kendrick, and more. Below is what she had to say about her cousin, Amazing Red and his school, House of Glory Wrestling.

How many times per week do you work or train per week?

I have to workout at least 5 days a week. I have my set schedule so that I know which body part to work out each day. My wrestling training varies depending on where I am. If I am on the road with TNA it is very easy to get in the ring early and train, when I am home I go to Amazing Red’s wrestling school, The House Of Glory in Queens, NY and when I get the chance to go to Mexico I train with Sarita and the wonderful trainers at CMLL.

Wrestling clearly runs in your direct family, but your cousin, Amazing Red, is also a professional wrestler. What is your relationship like with Red? Do you see him a lot on the road?

Red is my family, we may not be blood but he is family. He is an amazing person and trainer. He has helped me personally and professionally since the day I met him and I will always love and appreciate him for that. Sadly he is not with TNA anymore so I do not see him there but whenever I am home, that’s who I go see!

After the match Joe Ettell & John Skyler attempted to jump “The Greek
God” Papadon but Amazing Red came out to make the save. Amazing Red is
back in the NYWC!

We’ve finally been able to add screen captures of Amazing Red’s match against Roderick Strong at PWG’s Fear show last year. Amazing Red came up short though, and lost to Strong, but it was an amazing match. You must go and purchase the DVD, and check out the captures in our gallery.
