 A few months back, we requested an exclusive Q&A with Amazing Red, and he was kind enough to let us send him some questions. Below you can check out all of the questions, and his answers. How would you feel if your children considered or pursued a career in professional wrestling? How do you feel about the way TNA debuted Crimson – aka Tommy Mercer – as your younger brother? Do you feel that the storyline could have gone in a more interesting direction that involved you two interacting more? Would you have liked to do a storyline with your real-life cousin Rosita – aka Thea Trinidad? Who would you say is hotter, you or Crimson? What made you want to start up HOG? How did you start HOG? Could you give us more information on it so we could dedicate a section to the website to it? How do you feel about being one half of the ICW tag team champions with Danny Demanto, a man that you’ve literally been to Hell and back with? Do you design your own ring gear? Do you think being 5’4 is too short to be a pro wrestler? What do you think about the littler guys – the guys that are about 150lbs and are about 5’6 and under – in wrestling? Do you think putting school on hold to pursue a career in pro wrestling is a good move?

I have been wanting to make an Amazing Red MV for a while for the site, for a sort of MV of the Moment. There’s not a lot of him out and about, so I decided to make one using the Bound for Glory 2009 Ultimate X match for the X-Division title. The song used is Invincible by Skillet. So go check it out!
On November 19th, Amazing Red participated in a tag team match at Victory Pro Wrestling’s “Turning the Tide” show. Below are the results from the show.
On February 18th, 2010, Amazing Red teamed up with Generation Me and a newly returning Kazarian to take on the oddball team of newly crowned X-Division champion Douglas Williams, Motorcity Machine Guns, and Brian Kendrick. In true X-Division fashion, these two teams showcase just what the X-Division could truly do when they get a chance. Thanks to Kazarian with a DDT on Williams, Amazing Red’s team managed to win that night! It’s unfortunate that the X-Division has shrank so drastically in over a year. Even when it comes to the competitors in this match. Amazing Red and Generation Me left the company, Sabin is hurt while Shelley is nowhere to be seen same for Williams, and Kendrick makes rare appearances while Kazarian plays the sympathetic best friend. Amazing Red took on his dear friend Dan Maff in what looks to be a pretty good and competitive match. Amazing Red’s cuzzo Impact Wrestling Knockout Rosita recently stopped by House of Glory wrestling to do some training with Amazing Red himself! In her latest video, she shows off a bit of what she learned with him. Both myself and Trisha adore Rosita to no need, so we definitely support her in this and we know she found herself a fantastic teacher! She also uploaded a video of her and Red talking about her training, so check that out below the cut.

 Jonathan Figueroa, better known as independent wrestler Amazing Red, is a former TNA three-time X-Division champion. Since making his debut on the wrestling scene in 1998, the 5'6, 150lb Brooklyn native has wrestled in a number of organizations, winning numerous championships and has ranked at 87th place in PWI's Top 500 singles wrestlers of 2010.
